At present we do not use e-mail for communication with patients.
We can be contacted by telephone, fax, post or in person at our surgery sites.
Personal e-mail in-boxes at the practice are not checked in the absence of a GP, and this could result in vital clinical information being delayed and a patient might suffer as a result. Similarly, any complaints could be delayed and not responded to within the required time frame. We advise that the confidentiality and security of e-mails sent outside the NHS network cannot currently be guaranteed.
We are not able to safely provide clinical (medical) advice by e-mail.
We would ask patients kindly not to write to the GPs at their direct e-mail addresses.
Please therefore send all important communications on clinical or other matters by post or by fax to the GPs.
