Opening Times For The Dispensary

 

Dispensary opening times are 8.30am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 6.30pm

Phone lines are open for medication queries 9.30am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 6.30pm.

Please note that the Dispensary do not take prescription requests over the telephone.

Extended Hours and Improved Access

At Beckington Family Practice we offer additional appointments outside of our normal working week in the evenings and on Saturday mornings, this is on a rotational basis between all five Primary Care Network Practices (Beckington Family Practice, Mendip Country Practice, Park Medical Practice, Grove House Surgery and Oakhill Surgery).

Out Of Hours

We are closed between 6:30pm and 8:00am and also during weekends and bank holidays, if you require non-urgent medical assistance Telephone 111.

Your call will be assessed by an experienced nurse who will give you the most appropriate type of help or advice. The nurse can call an ambulance, arrange access to the on-call doctor, or provide advice and information on health care matters.

Minor Injury Units

Minor Injury Units are staffed by Emergency Nurse Practitioners, who have the training and experience to deal with: cuts · remove foreign bodies · dress wounds · cuts and grazes · burns · scalds · minor broken bones · insect and animal bites · screening and treatment for Chlamydia.
