Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients that are interested in being a representative of the local community served by the practice and meet regularly with practice staff for discussion and action.

The aims of the Patient Participation Group (PPG)

  • ·         To be a conduit between patients and the practice
  • ·         To promote early important health benefits endorsing good practice for routine healthcare
  • ·         Change is continuous and we endeavour to highlight any changes e.g. appointment systems
  • ·         The PPG meets every 3 months and new members are always welcome.

The GPs and supporting staff in the practice with the help of the PPG are committed to promote the proactive engagement of patients. This may be to seek views through the use of local surveys or by speaking directly to the PPG members.

If you think you would be interested in becoming a member of our Patient Participation Group, please contact Pam Brewster, PPG Secretary. Telephone 01373 465225

Getting Your View

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
